Memo: Procedure for Western Québec School Board’s Online Schooling 2021-2022

Dear Parents & Guardians,

We are pleased to announce that there will be an online option available to WQSB students who have been deemed “at risk” by a medical doctor, OR if they live with a family member who is vulnerable to COVID-19. Please note the following important facts:

  • A student admitted to WQOA (the online school) will be a part of the online school for the entirety of the 2021-2022 academic year.
  • A new doctor’s declaration form must be completed. Forms dated before August 19, 2021 will not be accepted. Forms are available below.
  • Forms must be submitted to the following email address before September 17, 2021: wqstudentexemption@wqsb.qc.ca
  • Students of WQOA have the same expectations for attendance, work completion and evaluation as the students attending schools in person For more information and FAQs, please see our website or contact us.
